My Kribs have just had babies! very good parents, my only worry they are in a really large tank with lots of large fish, how do I get food to them? what do you suggest? thanks, I love Kribs too! Admin reply: Great! Well done. If you can't do what I tried with a pipette or get hold of some baby brine shrimp, just get some special baby fish food for egg-layers from your local pet shop. Hopefully the babies will find enough microscopic bits of that floating about to eat. Just follow the instructions on the bottle. Makes a bit of a cloudy mess but should do the job. Good luck!

Hey its daniel from sotland again, my kribs were wantin to breed but the malawi cichlids wouldnt leeve them alone so they didny breed but i got a bit o flexi plastic and gave them there own undisturbed area an the end of the tank n planted it and put a cave for them n there looking like they want to breed now the females bellys went reely red n she goes it a sort of arch shape and shakes it in front of him but all he dose it sort of head-but her lol, is that normal for him to do that or considerin i only put them in there yesterday do you think hes just gettin settled in n not quite used to the idea yet ? hes a bit nipped from the other cichlids, thot he might just want to recover first before he gets down to the buisness lol, anyway what you think ? it was fantastic finding your blog on the kribs, i have been breeding kribs for over a year now and have had about six batches but have only had one get to 7 months old, they breed in a 180 litre comunity tank and i think there are some fish that eat the babies as dinner, sad but nature is that way and only the fitest survive, i keep trying to have two or three females in the tank with the large male but the female who isnt mating at the time seems to die, all the sites seem to say to have more than one female, now i have put two females on there own in a small tank and the breeding pair in the tank to raise there fry, i was thinking about swapping the females over when the time is right, whats your thoughts on this, thanx jack

Jack, A million thanks with posting your xorg.conf file. I used most parts of your config to get my ubuntu 8.0.4 working w/ this BIOSTAR V6202EL63 GeForce 6200LE 64MB vidieo card and 19 in. hyundai monitor. I even kept your monitor setting as a dell and it worked fine. Thanks again, you saved me a ton of time, James
